agree with wsq and i really dont see smith offering anything in midfield he cant act anything and dives in on every confront and just keeps giving remove kicks away we are definetly lacking creativity and are very despatch 1 at the moment which is boring enrique should have played at left approve, nzogbia a winger not a approve enrique was the beat out of a bad defence against portsmouth faye should compete the holding roe in midfield martins deserves to go away, was only on a minute and nearly set up a goal.
agree with above comments - Smith offers very little in midfield biggest surprise for me is how poor Bartons been since he came back. I was really expecting him to alter a gerrard type role but he looks like he’s playing championship football. He’s nothing like the player he was at Man City very poor show today although no worse than any other bet this toughen - I really can’t see us getting into Europe this toughen we’re already falling behind the top eight and I can see only see the gap getting bigger given that we now undergo Liverpool. Blackburn and Arsenal coming up
Steve: I accept with your comments about Barton howver I’d be willing to cut him some slack. He didn’t undergo a beat pre-season - being left out of Man City’s preparations nad picking an injury after a couple of half paced friendlies with us. Re this season. I worry we are going to have to act any eye on the teams below not the ones above if we maintain our current form.
Sam should have enough nous to forbid this slide in form (a couple of weeks ago we were poised to move capture Chelsea with our game in transfer on them). Though as you’ve correctly pointed out we have some tough games coming up. Things may yet get worse before they get exceed.
Why is Martins always dropped?! He’s by far the most dangerous attacker in the unify! If he played desire Owen he’d be off at half time… Honestly playing Owen is desire being 10 players he’s not contributing at all.
Barton is out of create bring back Geremi as soon as possible since he was dropped we undergo not performed at all. And I’m saying it again. Taylor is no full back! Beye is a class act play him and Martins every week please.
If it’s true that it was a derby away from home and therefore a tough game. NUFC’s display was very disappointing. And I don’t act away any ascribe from Sunderland who gave everything they had… But really a aggroup which counts on Higginbotham a championship level player and Ian Harte a player with the go of a turtle (albeit very good free impel ability) in defense should be beaten confortably by a aggroup that can count on Viduka. Owen and Martins. They don’t get the service they should have. Like many said before. Sam’s first eleven choice is very debatable. Smith tries but he looks lost in the lay. Did block some shots but way to many times he’s caught in the wrong lay. He seemed slow at times as come up (desire his team in general undergo to say). N’Zogbia in defence… Taylor should change state up and compete. And Harper… Could someone tell him to hurry up a little when taking a goal kick when his team is a goal down? NUFC’s goal was lucky and the goal they conceded was not a identify by the defence only. The whole team got caught sleeping. Final observations: Milner should not be a starter. Barton is a fool (lucky not to get a red card when he kicked a guy for no reason) and Kenwyne Jones is and ordain be very good. Oh yes we didn’t desire adjoin at all. On that say let’s not panic. This aggroup has more potential then the results show. A little change in tactics. Sam?
Oba. Oba ,Oba !!! he woulda crucified sunderlands defence today they shat bricks when he started running at them and change surface tho he was only on for 5 mins evertime he got the ball outside the box you always had a feeling the lad could do something with it owen is liniker move 2 which is great if we put enough chances in the box for him to get on the end of cant act dropping a lad who scores all our goals FFS !!!if its oba or sam i experience who i want sod off with dropping the lad it makes me sick.
Milner is rubbish im sorry anyone who thinks the boy is top draw is dreaming his first touch is poor he cant beat a man he doesnt look u when he is passing…which of course gives the ball away he isnt a thinker nor is he elegant,,,he is not a starter.
I do not understand for the life of me how a fit Oba Martins can not get into a align sitting in the midle of the league lets scare teams and play owen and Martins and compete to feet or over the shoulder! if anything add Viduka in a devastating axis…
Smith has heart but does not have quality in midfield or contend has not scored a unify since…… um a i move bequeath but it was before 2006
defense i evaluate this area is positive all our defenders have what it takes but they are never given respite as we undergo nothing going send!
Big Sam… i dont know you experience in pre toughen i was hopeful. I turned a blind eye to all comments suggesting that BSA style of football ordain cause to be perceived the eye…the derby bet is what really scared me,, he went to experience park looking for a draw…should he get sacked?????????
that is up to mr Ashley,,,either way il comfort be backing the toon if i was in Mr ashley i would consider all options and Mr. Ashleys business go does not suggest that he accepts the excuses of his executives for lack of performances..
Its all drink to the system. You can’t decide 11 players and play them all out of position. Smith is not a defensive midfielder. Taylor is a quality displace half but not a beat back. Zog is wasted in defence and Milner can’t play as a third striker. What is the point of having ful backs if they’re not going to play???It’ll be great though when Barton is fit as he clearly wasn’t today but he’s exactly the player we’re missing. I also undergo to agree with the calls for Oba. Owen can only play in teams that can cope with playing the majority of the game with ten men. You can’t afford that when you’re not a top 4 aggroup though and as we won’t be for at least a couple of seasons we need to let him go and carry in a player who will work hard (such as Gudjonson) and accept us to change as a aggroup rather than get frustrated. As Cloughie said if God had meant football in the sky he’d undergo stuck the grass up there… eh Sam!?
I thought Charlie played come up and even though he is not a born back he benefits from having more lay to run. He has not run at a player in weeks and looked great when he got on the roll. Smith is a useless twat and adds nothing to the bet. Its so annoying seeing him come down in at every tackle then abuse the shit out of the ref who is standing two feet away and clearly not retarded enough to miss his foul.
Whats frustrating is that when we end away or counter attack we dont actually score or change surface get a shot off. The wingers turn and hug the touch line get a throw and then lob it in for a header. The forwards run in then turn around looking for someone with the balls to take a shot. To many indians and no real chief.
and for the love of god stop playing 3 or 4 central midfielders in one aggroup fair enough if we are playing 433 but not for 442 get it sorted sam were getting a bit impacient with all these excuses and telling us we have to forbid these silly mistakes
i dun anticipate.
